The walkthrough

The conversation I'd have with you on a first call, so you can work out whether we're the right fit before booking anything. Four minutes, or read it below.

  1. Hey, I'm Cris, the co-founder here at Urroz. I want to take these next few minutes to give you the context behind what you'll read on this page, so you can work out whether we're the right fit for you and your team. Now, when I say the word foundation, I mean the thing that nobody on your team fully owns — how your strategy, your website, your materials, and the way your team works actually connect together.

  2. Most organizations have these pieces working independently, but almost none of them have them compounding in the same direction. For instance, your team may have expanded or pivoted. You've shifted focus, or your brand was never fully aligned to begin with. And as a result, everything customer or client facing is just not reflecting what you do right now or the direction that you're going.

  3. You may even have a general plan of what you need to do, but especially for small and medium sized teams, there simply isn't enough capacity to make it happen. Everyone's busy working in the organization, but there isn't someone dedicated to working on the organization. And I really want to reiterate that it's not that anyone's dropped the ball or slacking, it's just that it was often never anyone's job to see how the pieces fit together.

  4. And no one's put a number on what that might be costing you, but doesn't mean that it isn't costing you something. And if you're here, it's likely because you know something needs to change. You just need the guidance or the team to make it happen. This is exactly where we come in as your embedded brand team.

  5. We break down our approach into three phases. We have The Read, which all projects start with, In Residence and The Open Line. The Read is a $5,000 investment, but it's credited in full towards implementing the plan we create, if we continue to the next step. And the reason that it's paid rather than free, is so that we can properly take the time to get to know your team, who you serve, what you do and your objectives.

  6. So it isn't just a pitch built on guesses. And because you're paying for it, I can tell you at the end whether or not it actually makes sense to proceed with the project with us. Sometimes you just need someone to map out the path forward, and your team actually has the capacity to make it happen.

  7. But if you don't, that's where the In Residence comes in. It takes a plan that we create in The Read and builds it from end to end. Now you'll notice that the In Residence has no number for the price, and that's deliberate. I don't know yet what you're trying to solve and the size of your objective.

  8. And if I price it before The Read, I'd either overcharge you for something simple or undervalue something that actually really matters. Then once that's built, you have an optional path forward, which is The Open Line, and plenty of teams finish with the In Residence and run it themselves. And that's kind of the whole point of building it with your team instead of for them.

  9. But if you want us to be in your corner to keep refining things and making things better, that's exactly what The Open Line is designed for. This shift in working this way is that nothing happens in a silo, and every piece is built knowing what the others are doing. So each one makes the next one easier.

  10. And where one finishes is where the next one starts. You're never re-explaining the context to a new vendor, or sending your brand guideline off to someone else for their own interpretation. Now we have our skill set and the things that we're strong at. But for anything that your project needs that we're not specialists in, we loop in partners that we've been working with for years to bring those pieces to life, whether that's photography, videography, French translation, or building a custom suite of systems and automations specifically for your organization.

  11. So I'd encourage you to look at our case studies to see how we've implemented this for other organizations, and how that might align with things that you're going through as well. If you'd like to see how we can do the same thing for you, book your free 30-minute discovery call where I'll ask you about your goals, you ask me whatever you need to know, and by the end, we'll both know whether a Read makes sense to proceed with. I look forward to chatting soon. Cheers.
